Staple Geotextile The Essential Material For Slope Protection And Landfill Engineering
Product Introduction
Staple fiber geotextile is a geosynthetic material composed of short fibers that is commonly used in applications such as reinforcement, drainage, filtration, isolation and protection in civil engineering projects.
Product Properties
1. High toughness and strength: Although it is made of short fibers, short fiber geotextiles usually have high tensile strength and tear resistance.
2. Good filtration performance: Staple fiber geotextiles allow water to pass through while preventing the loss of soil particles and are therefore commonly used in filtration applications.
3. Excellent drainage performance: Staple fiber geotextiles can promote the vertical or horizontal drainage of water in the soil.
4. Isolation: can be used as an isolation layer between different soil layers to prevent mixing.
5. Protection: The protection of the underlying geomembrane or other geomaterials from damage to the upper layer of soil or rock.
6. Chemical corrosion resistance: can resist the erosion of a variety of chemical substances, suitable for use in a variety of environmental conditions.
7. Ultraviolet resistance: has a certain ability to resist ultraviolet light, suitable for outdoor use.
8. Temperature stability: It can maintain stable performance in a certain temperature range.
Product Application
1. Road construction and maintenance: as a reinforcement material of the base layer, improve the bearing capacity and durability of the road.
2. Hydraulic engineering: used as filtration and drainage materials in reservoirs, canals, DAMS and other projects.
3. Environmental engineering: Covers used in landfills to prevent waste from coming into direct contact with soil.
4. Foundation reinforcement: Provides reinforcement on weak foundations to increase the carrying capacity of the soil.
5. Slope engineering: used for slope protection and stability, to prevent erosion and landslide.
6. Tunnel engineering: plays the role of strengthening and waterproofing in the tunnel lining.
