High Density Bentonite Geosynthetic Clay Liner For Waterproofing Projects
Product Introduction
Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) is a new type of geosynthetic material, which is widely used in various seepage prevention projects. Its main components are graded natural sodium bentonite particles and corresponding admixtures, which are made by fixing bentonite particles between geotextile and plastic woven cloth by needling process.
Product Properties
1. Sodium bentonite has high expansibility and can form a high density diaphragm under water pressure, which has strong self-water retention performance. When encountering water, bentonite will be highly expanded to form a gel, further enhancing the anti-seepage effect.
2. The sodium-bentonite waterproof blanket is simple and short in construction, and is suitable for waterproofing projects under various environmental conditions. For example, in landfills, artificial lakes, underground garages, roof gardens and other projects, the anti-seepage treatment can be completed by simply laying waterproof blankets and fixing them on the base.
3. Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket is made of natural inorganic materials, even after a long time or changes in the surrounding environment, there will be no aging or corrosion phenomenon, so the waterproof performance is durable.
Product Application
Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket is widely used in water conservancy, environmental protection, transportation, railway, civil aviation and other civil engineering, including the foundation treatment and sealing of landfill, artificial lakes, reservoirs, channels, rivers, basements, subways, tunnels, underground tunnels and other types of underground buildings seepage prevention.
