Description

Too low carbon concentration:

Causes and hazards: temperature fluctuations or too little penetration agent will cause the surface of the carbon concentration is insufficient. The ideal carbon concentration is between 0.9-1.0%, less than 0.8%C, and the parts are prone to wear.

Prevention methods:

The carburizing temperature is generally 920-940℃, too low carburizing temperature will cause the carbon concentration is too low, and prolong the carburizing time; Excessive carburizing temperature can cause grain coarsening.

The dosage of osmotic agent (BaCO3) should not be less than 4%.
