• The Leapmotor C16 is a mid-to-large-sized 6-seater SUV, offered in extended-range and pure electric versions, with prices ranging from 154,800 to 184,800 yuan1.

Exterior Design

• Family Design Language:The front face combines the daytime running lights with split headlights to form a through-type design. The LED headlights on both sides are equipped with automatic headlights and adaptive high and low beam functions. The trapezoidal air intake grille is also equipped with vertical air intakes on both sides, creating a layered look.
• Body Colors:There are six optional body colors, namely metallic black, glazed jade, sky gray, star purple, star silver, and pearl white.
• Side View:The side of the car looks solid and majestic, with a luggage rack on the roof, blackened material around the windows, and multi-layer soundproof glass design for the front and rear windows, which can effectively reduce wind noise. The exterior rearview mirror supports heating, electric folding, automatic downward flipping when reversing and other functions. The wheels are five-spoke in shape, and are available in 20-inch and 21-inch sizes.
• Rear View:It has a relatively large spoiler on the roof, inlaid with high-mounted brake lights, and the rear taillights adopt a family-style through-shaped design with segmented light strips, which are quite recognizable when lit. There is a large area of black surround at the bottom, giving it a sporty look.

Interior and Configuration

• Color Schemes:The interior is available in three colors: malt rice, sunset orange, and starry purple.
• Steering Wheel:The multi-function steering wheel is wrapped in leather material and supports up and down, front and back adjustment. The top configuration models also include a steering wheel heating function.
• Screens:The 10.25-inch full LCD instrument and the 14.6-inch central control screen both adopt the popular floating design, equipped with the new generation Leapmotor OS smart digital cockpit powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. It can also achieve a three-screen linkage with a 15.6-inch rear overhead screen.
• Seats:It adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout. The seats are covered with faux leather. The main driver's seat supports overall front and rear movement, height adjustment, and backrest angle adjustment. The two independent seats in the second row support electric adjustment, heating, and ventilation functions. The second row on the right is also equipped with a small table, and the seat fabric uses baby-grade organic silicone material, which has obtained Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification.

Space Layout

• Passenger Space:With a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, it provides spacious seating space. The second-row seats have high comfort and width, with a space utilization rate of 67.2%, close to MPV products. The third-row seats also have a certain amount of legroom and headroom when the second-row seats are adjusted properly.
• Cargo Space:In the 6-seat mode, the trunk volume is 209L. The third-row seats can be manually folded independently, and the volume after folding is 1022L.

Powertrain

• Extended-Range Version:It is equipped with a 1.5L range extender with a maximum power of 95Ps. The motor driving the vehicle is located on the rear axle, with a maximum power of 170kW and a maximum torque of 320N·m. It is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery with an energy of 28.4kWh, a 50L fuel tank, and supports fast charging, slow charging, and 3.3kW external AC discharging. The CLTC pure electric range is 200km, the CLTC comprehensive range is 1095km, the CLTC minimum charge state fuel consumption is 5.4L/100km, and the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 8.46s.
• Pure Electric Version:It adopts a single-motor rear-wheel drive layout. The motor has a maximum power of 215kW and a maximum torque of 360N·m. The official 0-100km/h acceleration time is 6.37s, and the top speed is 160km/h. It is equipped with a 67.7kWh lithium iron phosphate battery.

Intelligent Driving

• The Leapmotor C16 is equipped with the Orinx chip + lidar, with a total of 30 perception hardware devices. It can easily achieve advanced assisted driving functions such as ALC automatic lane changing assistance, TJA traffic congestion assistance, ATC adaptive curve cruise, and NAP high-speed intelligent navigation assistance.
