KAMACH Spiral Pipe is used to roll low carbon steel or low alloy steel strip into a tube at a certain forming angle,
and then further weld it into a steel pipe using a submerged arc welder. Spiral pipes are the strong men among welded pipes.
The spiral-weld pipe manufacturing process is not only one of the most effective ways to produce steel pipe, but it also
offers high flexibility in the production range when it comes to diameter and wall thickness.
Spiral Weld Pipe (SSAW Pipe) is manufactured from steel coil. The coil is unwound and then welded as it is being formed
into the shape of the pipe. Changing the angle of the spiral and the thickness of the coil is all that is needed to switch from
one pipe size to another. The double submerged arc welds penetrate the full thickness of the steel on both sides to ensure
the strength of the finished pipe. Full-scale tests have shown that high-quality spiral weld pipe is as strong as API pipe.
The strength and flexible manufacturing capabilities of spiral weld pipe make it the product of choice for a variety of applications.
Spiral weld pipe is ideal for bearing piles since it can be produced in a wide variety of sizes, grades, and lengths. It is also
easy to splice and can be driven either open-ended or closed-ended. Closed-ended pipe can be filled with concrete.
Spiral weld pipes are also used for king piles in pipe-z sheet pile walls, casing for drilled shafts, bracing for cofferdams, and sign poles.
