Description

The TPS54325 device is an adaptive on-time DCAP2 mode synchronous buck converter. TheTPS54325 device enables system designers tocomplete the suite of various end equipment's powerbus regulators with a cost effective, low componentcount, low standby current solution.

The main control loop for the TPS54325 uses the DCAP2 mode control which provides a very fasttransient response with no external components. TheTPS54325 also has a proprietary circuit that enablesthe device to adapt to both low equivalent seriesresistance (ESR) output capacitors, such asPOSCAP or SP-CAP,and ultra-low ESR ceramiccapacitors. The device operates from 4.5-V to 18-VVCC input , and from 2.0-V to 18-V VIN input powersupply voltage. The output voltage can beprogrammed between 0.76 V and 5.5 V. The devicealso features an adjustable slow start time and apower good function. The TPS54325 is available inthe 14 pin HTSSOP package, and designed tooperate from -40"C to 85°C
