1. Metal Saddle Ring Introduction

Metal saddle ring is a new type of high efficiency random packing developed in the 1990s. It is used mainly in new packing tower. The towers can be 35% lower in height, or 30% smaller in diameter than previous towers. In other words, the metal saddle ring increased 10-30% in efficiency, and reduced 20-60% in pressure drop. In China, the experimental study of dry distillation, rather than wet distillation, shows that the investment can be reduced by 20%.
