The total sulfur content analysis instrument is developed by combining the UV fluorescence principle with computer technology. Comply with SH/T 0689 and ASTM D5453 standards, suitable for determining sulfur content in liquids, solids, and gases. Widely used in departments such as power, petroleum, chemical, commodity inspection, universities, and scientific research. It is applicable to the determination of total sulfur content in crude oil, distillate oil, liquefied petroleum gas, plastics, Petrochemical, food, etc.

Principle: After the sample is introduced into the high-temperature cracking furnace, the sample undergoes a cracking oxidation reaction. At a high temperature of around 1000 ℃, the sample is completely gasified and undergoes oxidative cracking, with sulfides quantitatively converted into sulfur dioxide. The reaction gas is carried by the carrier gas, and the water is removed from it through a membrane dryer before entering the reaction chamber. Sulfur dioxide is exposed to specific wavelengths of ultraviolet radiation, which absorbs this radiation and redirects some electrons towards high-energy orbitals. Once the electrons return to their original orbits, the excess energy will be released in the form of light and detected and received by a Photomultiplier tube at a specific wavelength. The emitted fluorescence is completely specific to sulfur and is proportional to the sulfur content in the original sample. After being amplified by a microcurrent amplifier and processed by a computer, it can be converted into an electrical signal proportional to the light intensity. By measuring its size, the sulfur content of the corresponding sample can be calculated.
