Description

The ST-17 eggshell color tester adopts an automatic calibration method, with over 30 measurement parameters and 26 standard light sources; The eggshell color tester can be automatically calibrated and automatically removed for gloss measurement. It can also measure 30 measurement indicators such as whiteness and yellowness, with good repeatability and can be certified by the Institute of Metrology.

Eggshell colors include white, light brown, brown, dark brown, and cyan. Some people prefer red shell eggs, while others prefer green shell eggs, believing that they have higher nutritional value. The color of the egg shell comes from the final process of egg processing in the hen's reproductive tract - the pigment secreted by the uterine epithelium, such as egg porphyrin providing brown, and biliverdin providing green. The exact pigment secreted first depends on the genotype of the hen. Secondly, it depends on the acquired factors such as the diet and health of the hen.
