2. Working Principle of Lab Conical Ball Grinder
The lab conical ball grinder is a horizontally placed cylindrical rotating device. Driven by external gears, it has two bins and is a lattice ball mill. Materials evenly enter the first chamber of the mill through the feeding hollow shaft screw from the feeding device. In this chamber, there are stepped or corrugated linings filled with steel balls of different sizes. The rotation of the cylinder generates centrifugal force, which lifts the steel balls to a certain height and then makes them fall, thus having a strong impact and grinding effect on the materials. After being roughly ground in the first bin, the materials enter the second bin through a single layer partition. The second bin is lined with a flat lining plate and contains steel balls inside, where the materials are further ground. The ground powder is discharged through the discharge grate, thus completing the grinding operation.
