Engine Oils HTHS High-Temperature and High-Shear Viscometer

HTHS Introduction:

The High-Temperature and High-Shear Viscometer is mainly used to determine the apparent viscosity of lubricating oil at high temperature and high shear rate.

The test principle is to make the sample flow out from the capillary viscometer under the pressure of nitrogen (carbon dioxide) under the test condition of 150°C. By the outflow time and pressure of the sample, the apparent shear rate of capillary viscometer can be obtained to a certain apparent viscosity, with the viscosity of the oil corresponding to the measured pressure for the curve corrected with each viscometer cell.

HTHS Features:

1. The High-Temperature and High-Shear Viscometer is originate in China and has been used by most customers;

2. Its accessories can be exchanged with imported instruments;

3. Equipped with a dedicated high shear viscosity calculation software;

4. No solvent cleaning, only a small amount of new samples can be washed;

5. The instrument allows 24 hours a day, 365 days of uninterrupted operation;

6. The glass capillary meets the standard requirements, diameter 0.15mm, length 16mm;

7. For the purpose of research, users can set different shear rates and test temperatures;

8. It adopts all aluminum materials;

9. Touch LCD control, can be directly operated on the LCD screen;

10. The software automatically recommends the test pressure, and the test result can generate the Excel report method.
