Ash Content Ashing Furnace in Petroleum Products for Ash Content Determination
ASTM D482 Ashing Furnace:
The Ash Content Tester is used to determine the ash in the range 0.001-0.180 mass %, from distillate and residual fuels, gas turbine fuels, crude oils, lubricating oils, waxes, and other petroleum products, in which any ash-forming materials present are normally considered to be undesirable impurities or contaminants.
The astm d482 ash content tester is applied to test the sulfated ash from unused lubricating greases or oils containing additives and from additive concentrates used in compounds, and the determination of ash between 0,001 % and 0,180 % in petroleum products.
