I.Introduction
The odour of commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is usually caused by unsaturated hydrocarbons, sulfur-containing compounds, or added odorants. This instrument describes a method for evaluating the odor of commercial LPG.
Test method:A liquefied gas sample that has been completely vaporized is diluted with purified air to achieve a concentration of the target gas in the mixture that is 20% of its lower explosive limit. At least three operators should be involved to assess the odor of the mixed gas.
Note: The lower explosive limit of the gas in air is a volume fraction of 1.9% for butane and 2.4% for propane.
II.Main features
1. This LPG Odour Test Instrument has a set of standard air purifier, 200ml;
2. Low-noise diaphragm air pump with flowmeter adjustment is supplied with the Odour tester for liquefied gas sample ;
3. The liquefied gas sample odour tester Gas mixing bulb with a nozzle.
4. The Odour test instrument is made of cold-rolled steel plate, with a surface treated by electrostatic spray plastic, which is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.
