The working steps of the counter pressure retort sterilizer is as follows:
1. Product loading: First, the product to be processed (usually canned food, bottled food, etc.) is loaded into the processing chamber of the counter pressure retort sterilizer. Make sure the sterilization chamber is tightly sealed.
2. Heating and pressurization: After the product is loaded into the sterilizer, the counter pressure autoclave starts to heat. The temperature and pressure in the sterilization chamber will also increase. This will create the conditions required for sterilization at high temperature and pressure.
3. Sterilization time: After reaching the required high temperature and high pressure conditions (usually 121℃-135℃, pressure range 0.7-1.2MPa), it will be stored under those conditions for a certain period of time. During this period, the high temperature and high pressure will completely kill microorganisms such as bacteria, spores, yeast, and viruses.
4. Pressure release: After the set sterilization, the counter pressure autoclave sterilizer will release the pressure and gradually reduce the internal pressure by spraying water. This allows the pressure in the chamber to return to the normal level.
5. Product exit: After the decompression process is completed, the sterilization chamber can be opened to take out the sterilized products. These products need to be sterilized, so that the products contained in the package are no longer susceptible to microbial contamination.
The working principle of the counterpressure retort sterilizer is based on high temperature and high pressure processing, which can effectively eliminate microorganisms in the product, extend the shelf life, and maintain the quality and taste of the product. Sterilization pressure and sterilization time vary from food to food, so they need to be adjusted according to the product.
