This stainless steel contemporary sculpture was made for a Norwegian famous artist, and installed in Norway in 2017. It is a wonderful snake with fin-shaped artwork on a big scale and looks lively in struggling forward movement with its mouth open. It took roughly 4 months to complete it with designing, model optimization, and fabrication. With the size of 3 meters (9.8 ft) high, and 6.4 meters (21ft) wide, the snake has a likable facial expression, which makes it a child-like sculpture, not frightful at all. To enable it a long lifespan, especially at the watery installation site, we applied 316L stainless steel for the mirror polished exterior surface, and 304 stainless steel for the interior structure as stainless steel is a permanent, corrosion- and oxidation-resistant material. To the artist’s satisfaction, the sculpture will please people and encourage people with its “continuous action” figure.
