H-K9L 25*1mm/25*3mm 1064 Beam Combiner 45AOI 650nmHR 1064nmHT
Description:
1064nm beam combiner are partial reflectors that combine two or more wavelengths of light -- one in transmission and one in reflection -- onto a single beam path. In YAG and fiber laser field, beam combiners are generally coated specific coatings to transmit 1064nm laser and reflect 650nm red light.
Laser beam combiner is one kind of partial reflectors, which is designed to create a single, combined beam by combining beams of two (or more than two) wavelengths through transmission or reflection.
Laser beam combiner could be used in various fields, including laser marking, welding, medical treatment, military, teaching, communication and other fields.
Usage:
Put the combiner in an adjustable holder in the beam path of the CO2 beam. Position the combiner at 45 degrees to the beam, with the face marked by a small arrow pointing AWAY from the laser. The CO2 beam will pass straight through, in the direction of the arrow.
Shine the red aiming beam at 90 degrees (perpendicular) to the CO2 beam. It will also hit the combiner at 45 degrees. It should hit the face marked by the small arrow. The red aiming beam will be reflected so it is now parallel to the CO2 beam.
In order to properly adjust the beams so they are parallel, you'll need to put both the aiming beam and the combiner itself on adjustable holders. I have some holders for sale, see my other items for details.
Beam combiners are partial reflectors that combine two or more wavelengths of light -- one in transmission and one in reflection -- onto a single beam path. Commonly ZnSe, ZnS, or Ge, beam combiners are optimally coated to transmit infrared light and reflect visible light, as in combining infrared CO2 high-power laser beams and HeNe visible diode laser alignment beams.
