Description

Metallographic optical microscopes offer high magnification with reflected and transmitted light to allow the user to view opaque items for specialty applications such as measuring instruments for measuring thin films, electroplating coatings, grain size, surface inclusions and defects.

They can also be used for metallic grain microstructure analysis and identification, measurement of thin films, electroplating coatings, microscopic analysis of opaque surfaces, study of prehistoric stone age tools and artifacts, historical preservation, the study of metallurgy, and metal patina analysis.

Our NCM-V1000 inverted metallurgical optical microscopes is widely used in institutes and laboratories to observe and identify the structure of various metal and alloy, it also can be widely used in electronics, chemical and instrumentation industry, observe the opaque material and transparent material, such as metal, ceramics, integrated circuits, electronic chips, printed circuit boards, LCD panels, film, powder, toner, wire, fibers, plated coatings, and other non-metallic materials and so on.

Digital cameras can be added to the trinocular tube to take images and make image analysis.
