Certification Introduction
TEC India Telecom Engineering Center issued the "Telecom Equipment Compulsory Testing and Certification Act". Starting from October 1, 2019, all telecommunications products, as long as they are produced, imported, distributed or sold in the Indian market, must pass TEC certification before that.

Relationship between TEC Certification, BIS Certification and WPC Certification
TEC: It is the Indian Telecom Engineering Center, full name Telecoummunicateon Engineering Center, TEC certification controls network communication products.
BIS: It is the Bureau of Indian Standards, full name The Bureau of Indian Standards, BIS certification controls safety regulations.
WPC: It is the agency that controls wireless regulations in India, full name Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing, WPC certification controls radio products.

TEC certification is divided into Interface Approval and Type Approval.
1. Interface Approval is based on the Interface Requirements (IR) standards issued by TEC.
2. Type Approval is based on the Generic Requirements (GR) standards issued by TEC.
