Application for Canadian IC ID Certification of Bluetooth Products
Since 2016, wireless Bluetooth headsets have been growing in market share with their writing experience. Among them, TWS headsets have achieved nearly 30% growth in the past year, and the shipment volume has reached 200 million units. Bluetooth headsets exported to Canada need to apply for Canadian IC certification. IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada, the Canadian Department of Industry. As a leading agency, it is responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. The products it is responsible for are roughly divided into: radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunications equipment, engineering and medical equipment, etc. Similar to the FCC in the United States, IC currently only restricts electromagnetic interference. In addition, TWS headsets exported to the Canadian market should meet IC ID and IC (headphones must meet IC ID, and charging docks must meet IC).
Materials for applying for IC certification:

2. Circuit schematic
3. Circuit block diagram
4. PCB Layout

8. Label
Note: If the customer applies for IC-ID first, he/she needs to register the CN code (enterprise code) on the IC official website first
