Custom Lead Free Wave Soldering Machine For SMT Assembly Line
Custom Lead Free Wave Soldering Machine For SMT Assembly Line RF-500A
Basic Informattion about Wave Soldering Machine
- For a single wave, there is only one wave, called advection wave. For double waves, the first wave is called a turbulent wave, and the second wave is called a advection wave (smooth wave).
- The role of spoiler wave: SMT component soldering and prevention of missing soldering, it ensures proper distribution of solder through the circuit board. The solder penetrates through the slit at a relatively high speed, thereby penetrating into a narrow gap. The spray direction is the same as the direction of the circuit board.
- For SMT components, the spoiler wave can basically complete the welding. But for through-hole components, the spoiler wave itself cannot properly solder the components.
- It leaves unevenness and excess solder on the solder joints, so a second wave---advection wave is needed.

Set the welding parameters of wave soldering equipment
- Flux flow rate: According to the condition of the flux contacting the bottom of the PCB. The flux is required to be evenly coated on the bottom of the printed circuit board
- Starting from the through hole on the PCB, a small amount of flux should penetrate from the through hole to the pad on the surface of the through hole, but not through
- Preheating temperature: set according to the actual situation of the preheating zone of the microwave oven (the actual temperature of the upper surface of the PCB is generally 90-130°C, the temperature of the thick plate is the upper limit of the assembly board with more SMD components, and the temperature rise slope is less than or equal to 2°C/S;
- Conveyor belt speed: according to different wave soldering machines and PCB settings (usually 0.8-1.60m/min); solder temperature: (must be the actual peak temperature displayed on the instrument (SN-Ag-Cu 260±5℃) , SN-Cu 265±5℃) temperature. Because the temperature sensor is in the tin bath, the temperature of the instrument or LCD is about 3°C higher than the actual peak temperature;
- Wave height measurement: when it exceeds the bottom of the PCB, adjust to 1/2~2/3 of the PCB thickness;
- Welding angle: drive inclination: 4.5-5.5°; welding time: generally 3-4 seconds.
