The SLE allows freedom of knee flexion and achieves secure suspension by sealing with the skin without restricting circulation. The separate fabric cover allows the EasyGel to move with the user, therefore reducing the forces against the patella and allowing the bulk of the sleeve to be displaced away from the popliteal area.
