​Coreshine Led Linear Lighting Emergency Solution

Thanks to the preset 8-wire & 12 wire trunking rail, emergency lighting can be well integrated into standard lighting. With two independent emergency lighting circuits and a self-contained emergency driver & battery, Coreshine's LED Linear Lighting System can provide full or reduced power in the event of power failure, General lighting combines with automatic emergency lighting into one integrative lighting solution. You can easy to work out the emergency lighting solution with this system.

Different emergency solutions for you choose

1. Central battery systems / Generator

EL1 EN1 & EL2 EN2 makes mode selected

2. Self contained battery

Under this mode, the luminaires could be 6W or 12W, working for 1.5 hours or 3 hours (depending on the demand selected in advance)

Ni-MH battery we used is high temperature resistant, which can make sure its life time to be longer.

Electronic Parts

In the luminaire with emergency function, there are one LED lamp driver connect to external emergency supply, or LED lamp driver with one emergency driver and battery to control the lamp for general lighting or emergency lighting.

Emergency driver is for switching from mains to emergency operation. When power cut happens, emergency driver will automatically switch to self contained battery.

By self contained emergency supply, luminaire work at reduced power: 6W(CSSD-E1) or 12W(CSSD-E2)

CoreShine uses Nickel metal-hydride (NiMH) battery. The battery in the lamp is rechargeable and it is maintenance-free. There are two options for battery:1800mAh (CSSB1) and 3600mAh (CSSB2), which deliver different illumination and duration time under 6W (CSSD-E1) or 12W (CSSD-E2) emergency power.

LED lamp driver provides power to the luminaire directly. Options are provided with 35W, 50W or 70W to drive for a variety of illumination for different lighting requirements of diverse areas.

With the new design, CoreShine Led Linear Lighting System offer two emergency lighting models, users can choose by themselves according to the actual needs of different projects.

Emergency Lighting Models

Based on emergency supply, Coreshine's linear emergency light falls into two models as follows:

- by external emergency supply only ( EL1/EL2)

- by internal emergency supply only ( emergency drive and built-in battery supply )

External Emergency Power Supply Model

In the external emergency supply model, no emergency driver and battery is in the luminaire. Two independent emergency supply - EL1/EN1, EL2/EN2 - in the trunking can be opted for connecting luminaire to the generator or central battery for emergency supply. Each luminaire can be either connected to generator or central battery. Different lamps in one circuit can be opted for generator supply or central battery supply if it is available and necessary.

When power cuts, emergency supply - EL1/EN1, EL2/EN2 direct connect to generator or central battery. Luminaire lights on for 100% brightness in this case.

Internal Emergency Power Supply Model

In the internal emergency supply model, the emergency power supply is from the emergency driver and built-in battery.

When power cuts, CHR circuit can detect and automatically switch to the emergency driver and built-in battery supply model. Emergency driver is charging for built-in battery, Luminaire lights on with reduced power 6W(CSSD-E1) or 12W(CSSD-E2) under battery operation. There are two options for battery 1800Ah (CSSB1) and 3600mAh (CSSB2) battery. There are two emergency lighting models by battery supply as below.

Duration

Working time of CoreDhine emergency lighting depends on both reduced lighting power and capacity of built-in battery. CoreShine emergency lighting offers 3 hours working time.

Response Time

CoreShine emergency lighting can switch on within 1 second. The very short respond time can prevent people panicking in the darkness.

Remarks and Warnings

• Wires between lamps and batteries will be disconnected during transportation.
• Keep batteries away from direct sunlight, high temperature and high humidity.
• During long terms of storages, battery should be charged and discharged once each month, or permanent damage to batteries may result.
• When discarding batteries, insulate the + and - terminals of batteries with insulating tape, etc. When disposed of improperly, batteries may short, causing them to become hot, burst or ignite.

Emergency E27 / E14 Module

Emergency E27/E14 is compatible with Coreshine's LED Linear Lighting System, the module functions can be easy connected to the System and integrative the lighting solution. You will have more choices with the Emergency lighting solution.

Emergency EXIT Sign Module is a solution on Coreshine's LED Linear lighting system, When the power cut happens, the Emergency exit sign can working within 1 second on the system.
