What is Electric Linear Actuator?
Electric Linear Actuators are appliances that translate the rotational movements of direct current (DC) motors of low voltages into linear movement.
Why do we choose to use an electric linear actuator?
It is easy to pull, push, adjust, lift or tilt objects that are hard to reach or the heavy objects. Furthermore, using electric linear actuators is beneficial because the electrical current is transmitted easily to actuators since cabling is cost-effective as compared to piping. More so, electricity utilized is also cost-effective and efficient. Energy is also distributed softly and modestly to the motor.
Some of our tests on the linear actuator:
Static push and pull tests of basic actuators with 100, 200 and 300 mm strokes. |
Dynamic push/pull tests of the actuator. |
Self-locking tests at dynamic and static load. |
Lifetime tests performed at combined loads in the push and pull situations. |
Actuators are tested with 7000N load, at temperatures of plus 5 °C and plus 40°C. |
Actuators are tested with 7000N load, at temperatures of minus 40 °C and plus 70°C. |
Actuators with loads of 0N, 3000N and 7000N are tested at minus 40°C, plus 30°C and 70°C. |
Actuators are tested for water ingress according to IP X6, without movement. |
Actuators are tested for dust sealing properties according to IP 6X. |
Actuators are tested for corrosion resistance at 300 hours salt spray test. |
