The SRX712M is a world-class, professional stage monitor. It compossed by 12" high power woofer with 1pc 1.75" high quality compression driver unit.

This 12" 2-way speaker has tight, punchy bass and handles 300 watts (1200 watt peak @ 8 ohms).

The SRX712M can also do double duty as a utility speaker. For use on a tripod or over a subwoofer, dual angle pole mount is included. This feature allows the speaker to be mounted in a vertical position or with a 10° down tilt for optimum audience coverage.

The SRX712M uses a 12” woofer and a 75mm (3 in) voice coil, neodymium compression driver for 800 watts (continuous) power capacity form a monitor with a profile that is only 12 inches above the stage. A 50°x 90°aluminum horn provides smooth, even coverage whether the performer is standing right on the speaker or moving upstage.

The enclosure is constructed of top quality birch plywood and coated in JBL’s rugged finish. The attractive CNC-machined, 16-gauge steel grill wraps around the sides of the enclosure so there are no protruding lips on the front of the box to create acoustical interference. The grilles are internally lined with acoustically transparent foam to provide additional driver protection and give a very professional appearance.

Worth every penny! I've just finished a product demo of these for my sound company and I'm stunned. Anyone that is looking at the CD series should save themselves the money and go with these. The wooden cabs will give you just a hair more punch in the low end but if you're looking for real low end you should have a sub. These will do great for dj's kj's acoustic performers and even small band rehearsal.
