Floating line: 8AWG x 2C+(26AWG x 1P+AL)+SMF(2-core single-mode fiber)+F+ non-woven fabric + BOD =24.0mm foamed TPE Sheath
1THis is a ROV floating connector cable,suitable for underwater environment. This product is mainly used for mechanical equipment,like robots,salvage equipment,construction equipment, robotic arms,hydraulic cutter operating that operating in underwater harsh environments.

The cable is composed of 2 power cords , two core single-mode optical fiber,one twisted pair of signal wires with aluminum foil shielding,high-strength Kevlar and non-woven polyester tape filled , tinned copper for shielding and TPE jacket.Two core single-mode fiber, as thin as a hair,can transmit 40 kilometers or more without signal affecting.TPE jacket is made of special foam, low density,in order to enable the wire to float in the water.This cable is 125ºC high temperature resistance and has high stability,which can have the tensile force up to 300KGF. Also it can be against external signal interference.

The cable adopts special flexible special sheath material(the color can be selected by the customer),The bending life is more than 6 million times,and the sheath will not break.

Cable has flexibility,wear resistance,oil resistance,acid and alkali resistance,tensile resistance,excellent waterproof and anti-aging propertise.

The designed cable specific gravity is infinitely close to the specific gravity of water,and the cable can float on the water surface.

Zero buoyancy drag line description:
Zero buoyancy drag cables are used as drag cables for underwater robots and unmanned underwater detectors. Due to the need to soak underwater for a long time and move more with the underwater robot, the endurance of the underwater robot is limited when working underwater. Therefore, the cable is required to be made with zero buoyancy to reduce the operating burden of the equipment underwater. In addition, the cable is required to have good long-term underwater performance and good flexibility.

  • Conductor: Multi strand ultra-fine precision twisted oxygen free copper wire
  • Conductor type: Bare copper wire
  • Insulation: Special nitrile PVC blend or TPE (optional for customers)
