The touch screen is physically a vertical coordinate positioning system, where each touch data is converted into the coordinates on the screen through calibration data. Therefore, it is required that the output data of the same point on the touch screen coordinate set is stable under any circumstances. If it is unstable, the touch screen cannot locate the coordinates accurately, which is the problem that the touch screen is afraid of: drift. Technically, any touch screen that cannot be touched at the same point with the same sampling data has the problem of drift. Currently, only capacitive touch screens have the phenomenon of drift.
