There are many three aspects in PLC: switch, analog quantity, and pulse quantity. As long as you understand the connection between the three, you can proficiently master and use PLC.
1, In the switch
Switch, also known as logic, refers to having only two values, 0 or 1, 0N or OFF. It is a commonly used control, and controlling it is an advantage of PLC and also a basic use of PLC.
The purpose of control in the switch is to cause the PLC to generate corresponding switch output based on the current input combination and historical input order in the switch, so that the system can work in a certain order. So, sometimes also known as sequential manipulation. And sequential control can be divided into manual, semi-active, or active. There are three control principles adopted: dispersion, convergence, and hybrid control.
2, Analog quantity
Analog quantity: Among the connected voltage, current, and other signals, the analog signal is a signal that fluctuates continuously with time, and after sampling and quantization, it becomes a digital signal. There are many correct and incorrect electrical quantities in the simulation, while PLC can only handle digital quantities and electrical quantities. All conversions between them require sensors to convert analog quantities into digital ones. If this electrical quantity is not standardized, it needs to go through a transmitter to convert the non-standard electrical quality into standardized electrical signals, and there is also an analog input unit (AD) to convert these standardized electrical signals into digital signals; Analog output unit D/A) to replace the digital quantity processed by PC with analog quantity
3, Pulse quantity
Pulse quantity is a number whose value is constantly changing between 0 (low level) and 1 (high level). The number of times a clock pulse is replaced and changed is called the frequency. The control of pulse quantity is often used for angle control, distance control, position control, etc. of stepper motors and servo motors.
