Rosemount's 3051TG intelligent pressure transmitter and 3051TA absolute pressure transmitter integrate sensor, electronic technology, and single isolation diaphragm design, achieving calibration ranges for gauge and absolute pressure measurements from 0.3 to 10000psi.
The working principle of the 3051T intelligent pressure transmitter is that during operation, the isolation diaphragm and filling liquid on the high and low pressure sides transmit the process pressure to the filling liquid, and then the filling liquid transmits the pressure to the sensing diaphragm in the center of the sensor. The sensing diaphragm of the 3051 pressure transmitter is a tensioned elastic element whose displacement varies with the pressure applied (for the 3051GP pressure transmitter, atmospheric pressure is applied as if it were on the low-pressure side of the sensing diaphragm).
The 3051AP absolute pressure transmitter always maintains a reference pressure on the low-pressure side. The large displacement of the sensing diaphragm is 0.004 inches (0.1 millimeters), and the displacement is proportional to the pressure. The capacitive plates on both sides detect the position of the sensing diaphragm. The difference in capacitance between the sensing diaphragm and the capacitor plate is converted into the corresponding current, voltage, or digital HART (high-speed addressable remote transmitter data highway) output signal.
