The T-type clamps normally have two ways to connect with the roof, one is tapping the screw on both sides, total using 4pcs, the advantage is no need to consider the beam position under the roof; another fixing way is to use a long screw tapping on the top, same as L-feet, this way is to connect the clamp with beam under the roof instead of the roof tile.
