Features:
It's time in seconds which under a defined pressure differential is required to draw a definite quantity of air at atmospheric pressure between the surface of the test piece and a ring-shaped plane surface under specified conditions of contact. The smoothness of a wide range of papers and boards may be measured by this method and it is especially recommended for smooth papers and boards. However , for very smooth samples, measurement times may be impractically long.
