Data Specifications
Function
A five-axis machining center can process a wide range of products, especially complex components. Equipped with simultaneous movement along the three linear axes (X, Y, Z) and two rotational axes (typically A and C axes or B and C axes), these machines offer great flexibility and precision. They are particularly suitable for parts with intricate geometries, such as molds, aerospace components, and high-precision parts with stringent surface finish requirements. For instance, they can handle micrometer-level accuracy in mold part machining, efficiently process complex-shaped parts with 10 to 20 micron machining accuracy, and perform brittle-hard material grinding with 2 to 5 micron accuracy. Additionally, in machining deep and steep cavities, the additional rotation and tilt of the workpiece or spindle head in a five-axis machine optimizes conditions for end mills, improving surface finish, processing efficiency, and tool durability.
