There are two making processes to make Hastelloy X block:
1. Raw material input (vacuum furnace smelting + vacuum
self-consumption)--ingot--forged open billet--testing--solid
Hastelloy X block by this way can reach to Aviation
2. Raw material input (intermediate frequency furnace smelting
+ electric slag)--ingot--forged open billet--testing--solid
Hastelloy X block by this way can not reach to Aviation
requirements theoretically.
Hastelloy X is featured by excellent antioxidant and corrosion resistance, good forming and welding properties. So this material is used to manufacture of combustion chamber components and other high temperature components of aeroengine.
