Tungsten heavy alloy has very high density. Its density is twice of steel. Tungsten heavy alloy is also characterised by low thermal coefficient, while it has high-energy rays and high absorption ability.
Tungsten heavy alloy (including tungsten nickel iron and tungsten nickel copper) is largely applied to be as balancing weight mould and high temperature moulds. Also it can be made into high-energy rays protective shielding part. The tungsten heavy alloy conforms to ASTM B 777-99 standard.
