Heat Resistant Valveless Ceramic Metering Piston Pump With Good Sealing

Ceramic metering piston pump can be made of zirconia ceramic, can offer lifetime cost savings, significantly longer service, better performance and safer operation than sleeves made of more commonly used chrome iron or alumina ceramic, according to data developed by manufacturers. The special hardness and exceptional wear resistance of zirconia translates into longer service from the urethane and rubber pistons that move at high speeds and under tremendous pressure inside the mud pump liners.

Our extensive range of tubing and rods enables us to offer a solution for every application. Sizes, compositions and materials can be varied based on customer specific requirements. Our most widely used Alumina tubing is available in a broad range of sizes and multi-bore configurations. Common applications include furnace and thermo-couple tubes.

Tubing and rods can be further machined into standoffs, washers and step bushings, which at lower quantities may be more cost effective than pressing processes, where costly tooling charges are typically required. Ceramic Products, Inc. has quick turnaround centerless grinding capabilities for all stock ceramics accommodating 1.5” Outside Diameters by 48” long. This enables our customers to have the size they need, when they need it.
