Mullite Ceramic Tube Low Thermal Expansion Coefficient Mullite Aluminum Oxide And Sialon Tube

Low cost, volume manufacturing processes are used to produce these tubes. Strong and impervious, they are extruded in smaller sizes and cast in larger sizes then batch fired at high temperatures in specialty kilns to maintain dimensional integrity and consistent material properties.

Properties

Detailed information on the mullite, aluminum oxide and sialon is available in the Materials section. The mullite is characterized by a low thermal expansion coefficient. The aluminum oxide is noted for it’s superior refractoriness. Sialon is an outstanding thermal shock resistant material. Each material offers the designer, engineer and scientist a cost effective, electrically insulating, high temperature material.
