The castable mixture made of light refractory aggregate with powder binder and admixture is called light refractory castable.As a result of light castable volume density is small, thermal conductivity is low, so also called heat insulation refractory castable.According to the volume volume density can be divided into: semi-lightweight refractory castable, volume density of 1.0-1.8g/cm3;(2) lightweight refractory castable, volume density of 0.4-1.0g/cm3;Super light refractory castable, volume density is less than 0.4g/cm3.According to the use temperature can be divided into three categories: (1) low temperature thermal insulation (light) refractory castable, use temperature of 600~900℃;(2) medium temperature thermal insulation (light) refractory castable, using temperature of 900~1200℃;(3) high temperature thermal insulation (light) refractory castable, using temperature greater than 1200℃.
