Samarium cobalt permanent magnet is a rare earth permanent magnet made of rare earth elements such as samarium and cobalt. Compared with NdFeb, samarium cobalt permanent magnets are better suited to work at high temperatures. It can maintain good temperature stability and chemical stability above 180°. Samarium cobalt permanent magnets are mainly used in defense, aerospace, microwave equipment, medical equipment, communications, instrumentation, various magnetic transmission equipment, magnetic processors, sensors, voice coil motors, magnetic cranes, etc. Samarium cobalt permanent magnet can withstand high temperature 250~ 350 degrees and Curie temperature 700~ 840 degrees. This is the unique samarium cobalt permanent magnet, high magnetic, high operating temperature. However, if an aesthetically pleasing or corrosion-resistant coating is desired, nickel, zinc, gold, or epoxy or other coating may be used. As for the application of samarium cobalt permanent magnets, they are mainly used in very complex working environments due to their good magnetic stability. Therefore, they are very suitable for manufacturing a variety of high-performance permanent magnet rotors.
1. Samarium cobalt permanent magnet has high magnetic energy product and high coercivity. Its magnetic property is better than Alnickel-cobalt permanent magnet and ferrite permanent magnet.
2. Sm cobalt permanent magnet Curie has high temperature and small temperature coefficient, which can be used at 300℃.
3. Samarium cobalt has high permanent magnet hardness, high brittleness, low bending strength, tensile strength and compressive strength, and is not suitable for use as structural components.
4. The main component of samarium cobalt permanent magnet is cobalt metal (CO ≥99.95%), so it is expensive.
Because of the properties of samarium cobalt permanent magnet, we hardly see any samarium cobalt permanent magnet in everyday products.
If an aesthetically pleasing or corrosion-resistant coating is desired, nickel, zinc, gold, or epoxy or other coating may be used.
