N Type Marine Pool Anchor complete with crown shackle. This Pool N anchor is a stocless anchor type designed to fit anchor pockets on modern ships, it is said to be the most beautiful anchor. Probably for this reason large yachts and cruise vessels are ofthen equipped with this casting steel pool anchor. This does not mean that these moorng pool anchors are not ion use on board of cargo carriers. On the contrary, some of the biggest container shippers in the world equip all their vessels with this steel N type pool anchor.

The Flukes of the ship mooirng pool anchor are constructed out of two shaped plates, which are welded together. Therefore the flukes of the mooring N type Pool anchor are hollow. This construction gives the anchor a large resistance against bending forces.

The extreme points of the pool anchor are wider than the width of the crown plates. Consequently the anchor gives a very stable anchoring character.
