T- Turbos / T- RH143/163 Turbocharger Bearing Housing Mixed-Flow Turbine Type For High-Speed Diesel Engine
T- / T- RH series turbocharger design features:
T- / T- RH143/163 turbocharger bearing housing/bearing casing belongs to T- RH series turbocharger and its design features are as flowing:
- High reliability: Excellent thermal resistance, air and oil sealing perforce and stable bearing system ensure the T- / T- RH Series marine turbochargers' reliability and long service lifetime.
- Superior perforce: the special design for its compressor wheels and turbine wheels make the high flow rate, wide operationg ranges and super response possible.
- Two types of journal bearing: semi-floating type and full-floating type, in order to prevent the shaft to move.
- Compact design: T- RH series is developed to reduce in size and weight, but maintain the necessary strength.
- Wide application: T- RH series turbochargers provide customers with the widest range of applications, such as automotive, heavy truck, construction, marine and industrial engine.

Introduction of T-/T-RH143/163 turbocharger casing - bearing housing/bearing casing:
The turbocharger includes turbine part, bearing part and compressor part, so the turbine housing, bearing casing and compressor housings cover and protect all the important parts safely in the turbocharger to ensure a premium perforce of the engine.
The turbine casing, bearing casing and compressor housing are made by cast iron. Some casings are water cooled which complicates the casting. Water cooled casings are necessary for turbochargers with ball and roller bearings with their own integral LO supply (to keep the LO cool). Modern turbochargers with externally lubricated journal bearings have uncooled casings.
