Pneumatic Yokohama rubber fender
Dock bumpers also called rubber fender ,pneumatic fender, marine fender, yokohama fender, made by rubber & multi layer of rubber-dipped tyre fabric, is a leading anti-collision device for marine application in the world today.
Dock bumpers have become an ideal ship protection medium against collision among ship-to-ship (STS), ship to quay (STQ) and ship-to-berthing (STB), they are widely used for large tankers, vessels, docks, harbor wharfs and ocean platforms.

Basic Component
According to ISO 17357:2002 <<Ships and Marine Technology, High-pressure Floating Inflatable Rubber Retaining Ball>>, several parts of the ball relieving are composed of:
1. Outer glue
The rubber layer covering the outside of the ball is used to protect the frame material and inner rubber of the ball from damage or wear by external forces.
2. Inner glue
The rubber layer on the inner wall of the ball is used to prevent gas leakage and maintain the pressure of the ball.
3. Cord fabric layer
Painted skeleton material composed of hanging rubber cord fabric.
4. Winding ring
The steel ring placed at one end (or both ends) of the ball is used to fix the end of the cord fabric.
5. End flange
The metal parts at both ends of the ball can be installed with inflation valves and safety valves.
Pneumatic Rubber Fender
Inflatable rubber fenders have been widely used in oil tankers, container ships, yachts, offshore platforms, large docks, military ports, large bridge piers, etc.
The inflatable rubber fender (by ball) uses compressed air as a buffer medium to absorb the impact energy of the ship, making the ship more flexible and soft when docking, so as to achieve the effect of collision and collision avoidance. Therefore, it is widely used for ship-to-ship transfer operations and ship berthing operations.
The sheathed pneumatic rubber fender (by the ball) is a fender system with high strength and high wear resistance developed and produced in accordance with ISO17357 (Net Type Pneumatic Fenders). The size is: D1.0m x L1.5 ~ D3.3m x L6.5m.
Its outstanding appearance feature is: the body of the pneumatic fender is wrapped by a tire chain net, thereby extending the service life of the fender body. All the tires used are specially treated to make the surface more beautiful; all the chains are hot-dip galvanized and have strong seawater corrosion resistance.
