Adjustable Light Weight Hinged Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) Splint

Product Feature :

* Hinged ankle foot orthosis are used to control plantar and/or dorsi flexion (up or down movements of the foot) and side to side movements.

* Adjustable ankle hinges can be set to the desired range of ankle dorsiflexion or plantarflexion (fixed)

* hinged AFO with dorsal shell and foot part connected by integrated flexure joints

* Limit motion for multiplanar ankle instability or ankle pain

* Equipped with anti-rotation support plate device, suitable for bedridden patients.

* Useful for spina bifida patients with mid-lumbar level function

* Mesh lining is breathable and increase patients comfort

* The splint is made from high density thermoplastic resin with high strength and lightweight

* The front fender provide fully wrap design and increase the intensity of fixing and bracing

* Anti-slip and shock-absorbent preven from secondary injury

Indications:

  • correct or prevent ankle deformity by assisting in muscular weakness or overactivity involving ankle dorsiflexion, plantarflexion, inversion or eversion
  • ankle position indirectly affects knee stability with ankle plantarflexion providing a knee extension dorce and ankle dorsiflexion providing a knee flexion force
  • Recommended for foot drop with Stroke (CVA) or Cerebral Palsy; and in Arthritic or painful conditions to limit ankle motion
