Maidfirm® Thermoplastic masks are medical devices used for patient positioning & immobilization when process radiation therapy
treatments.

Maidfirm® Thermoplastic masks can offer precise positioning and immobilization to patient. Low shrinkage, strong and without pressure feeling, non-stick surface of skin, hair & clothes, good x-ray permeability and self-degradation. More comfortable experience to Patient.

Operation:
1. Heat the mask in water bath with temperauter 65-70°C about 2-3 minutes until it being transperant and soften, take it out from water and use clear and dry cloth to wipe the water, meanwhile temperatuer of mask will drap down and feel it not too hot to patien, then can mold on patient directly and with rapidly skilled professionals to mold. Advise patient doesn't move until the mask totally cool and rigidity. The minimum shrinkage will be attained after 20 minutes.

Thermoplastic masks are made of thermoplastic material which has features of easy to shape under low temperature in 65℃ -70℃, recover with the same condition as well and reusable for 3-4 times on one person.

Operation: Put into the hot water for about 2 minutes ( water temperature about 65-70 centigrade), it will be softened, and you can make any shape on any position of the body, keep it about 10 minutes to cool later, then become the shape you want. If you are dissatisfied, just re-put it into hot water, recover and reshape. It can be used 3-4 times, can reshape again and again.
