It employs isobutanol as its solvent and undergoes rapid curing without the need for harsh acid catalysts. Typically, it serves as an effective crosslinking agent for medium-solids, water-based varnishes, automotive paints, general industrial bake enamels, coil coatings, and can linings. Furthermore, it proves efficient as a crosslinking agent for epoxy, alkyd, polyester, and acrylic resin systems.
