The working principle of Induction Melting Furnace is based on electric and magnetic induction. An alternating current and alternating magnetic field is generated under the resonance action between capacity and induction ring, thus causing electrons inside the metal material to move in an alternating direction. This produces an electron eddy which in turn produces heat and it keeps increasing until it reaches melting point of diffent metal.
Our serially-connected resonance design guarantees continuous and stable operation of the equipment and it has a wide load matching range. Rectifier part of power cabinet adopts fully open design, so power factor is high and high harmonics is low.
Currently, the most widely applied melting electric furnace in the casting industry is the thyristor serial-connected type, which has a power factor of over 0.95, and can save the power up to 20% more than the parallel-connected thyristor types.
This system is durable, and it has no high requirements for the working environment, it is provided with protective measures such as water pressure detection and temperature detection for water pipelines, which assure its high safety performance.
