Tap Water TW-2012-100gpd RO Membrane for Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier System

The main differences between membrane and media filtration come down to the application. Both processes filter our pollutants. Both processes have two common methods for filtering. Membrane filtration sets itself apart in that it doesn't use a chemical process to filter water.

The maximum limits are: turbidity of 1 NTU and SDI of 4. Continuous operation of an RO system with feed water which has turbidity or SDI values near the limits of these values may result in significant membrane fouling.

After understanding the standard desalination rate of reverse osmosis membrane elements, the relationship between the actual desalination rate of reverse osmosis membrane and the desalination rate of reverse osmosis system, when designing reverse osmosis devices, providing users with system performance guarantees, accepting reverse osmosis devices or evaluating the performance of membrane elements, it must be based on the actual desalination rate of the system, not the standard desalination rate of membrane elements.
