Custom Design Autotex Mate Membrane Keypad Custom For Electrified Systems

1. Design

  • Layout: Decide on the number of keys and their arrangement (e.g., grid layout, custom shapes).
  • Graphics: Design the graphics for the keys (symbols, numbers, etc.) using graphic design software.

2. Material Selection

  • Substrate: Choose a durable material, such as polyester or polycarbonate, for the keypad overlay.
  • Adhesive: Ensure you have strong adhesive for mounting the keypad to its surface.

3. Key Switches

  • Types: Decide if you want tactile feedback (with domes) or a flat surface.
  • Actuation: Choose the actuation method (e.g., mechanical, capacitive).

4. Circuit Design

  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB): Design a PCB to connect the keys to the electronic components.
