Para Aramid Fabric With Pre-Oxidized Fiber For The Seats Of The Rail And Air Industries
Description:
Aramid fiber is a new type of high-tech synthetic fiber with excellent properties such as ultra-high strength, high modulus and high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, light weight, etc. Its strength is 5-6 times that of steel wire, and the modulus is steel wire or 2 to 3 times of glass fiber, the toughness is twice that of steel wire, and the weight is only about 1/5 of the wire. At 560 degrees, it does not decompose and does not melt. It has good insulation and aging resistance and has a long life cycle.
Para-aramids display high tensile strength (the maximum stress that a material can withstand) and modulus behavior(the tendency of a material to deform when force is applied). These fibers are created by the the dry-jet, wet spinning method resulting in a fiber which consists of fully extended liquid crystal chains formed along the fiber axis with a high degree of crystallinity which increases the fiber's strength. The p-aramid fibers can be manufactured with Tenacity around 23g/den and elongation at break ~3.5%.

Main uses of aramid fabric:
It is mainly used in the manufacture of seats for the rail and air industries. An aluminium version is also available. It is particularly suitable for use against sparks and projected materials. On the other hand, its mechanical properties are inferior to a 100 % para- aramid fabric.
