Description

Reducer, used for connection between two pipes of different diameters. According to different shapes, it can be divided into two types: concentric reducer and eccentric reducer.

Application of eccentric reducer:

The diameter of the two ends of the eccentric reducer is different, so it is used to connect different diameter pipe fittings or flanges to change the diameter. The center of the circle is on the same axis. When the diameter is calculated by the axis, the position of the pipe remains unchanged. It is generally used to change the diameter of gas or vertical liquid pipeline.

Eccentric cutting of pipe ends with different diameters is generally used for horizontal liquid pipeline. When the cutting point of eccentric pipe with different diameter is upward, it is called top installation. It is generally used for pump inlet, which is conducive to exhaust. The tangent point is inserted downward into the bottom for installation and drainage of control valve.

The eccentric reducer is beneficial to the fluid flow, and the influence of changing the diameter on the fluid flow pattern is small. Therefore, concentric and eccentric reducers are used in the liquid pipeline with gas and vertical flow.

Eccentric reducing pipe is a kind of pipe fitting which is suitable for different pipe diameters. The common forming process is reducing, expanding or reducing and expanding. Stamping can also be applied to some specifications of different diameter pipes.

Application of concentric reducer:

Concentric reducer will not produce corrosion, pitting, corrosion or wear, and can play a good role and performance in industry. Concentric pipe is also one of the high strength materials in building metal materials.
