Loose flange
Loose sleeve flange is commonly known as looper flange. It is divided into welding ring looper flange, flanging looper flange and butt welding looper flange, mostly used in copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals and stainless steel pipes. The connection of the loose sleeve flange is also realized by welding, but the flange is a loose sleeve on the attached workpiece that has been welded to the pipe, and then the accessory element and gasket are pressed to seal by connecting bolts. The flange (that is, the loose sleeve) itself does not touch the medium. The advantage of this flange connection is that the flange can be rotated, easy to pair the middle bolt hole, easy to install on the large diameter pipe, and also suitable for where the pipe needs to be removed frequently for co-cleaning and inspection. The flange accessories are consistent with the pipe material. The flange material can be different from the pipe material, so it is more suitable for conveying corrosive medium. But loose sleeve flange pressure is not high, generally only suitable for low-pressure pipe connection.
