ANSI B16.9 Eccentric Reducer, 4 Inch, SCH STD, ASTM A234 WPB

Eccentric head refers to the size head whose center is not on the same line. Its function is to stick to the wall or to the pipeline without occupying space, and to connect two different caliber pipes to change the size of the flow.
Eccentric head is mainly to solve the problem of different caliber of pipeline in connection, and also has the function of shock absorption and noise reduction. Eccentric head greatly saves the parts and costs of pipeline installation. It is composed of inner rubber layer, fabric reinforced layer, middle rubber layer, outer rubber layer, end reinforced metal ring or wire ring, metal flange or flat live joint. The installation of eccentric head in pump is mainly used to prevent corrosion, and the size head of pump inlet and outlet should be installed flat to prevent the gas phase from gathering in pump port and form large bubble into pump cavity to damage pump. Only in one case can the low flat installation, that is, the size of the head directly connected to the upper bend of the elbow, in which case the gas phase can not gather. The eccentric head can also reduce the noise of the pipe when working.
